The Mausoleum of Maussollos at Halicarnassus

The Mausoleum at Halicarnassus was the competitor of the second temple of Artemis. Moreover the same architects and other authors took part in the building of both Wonders of the World.
In fact, the Mausoleum is the monument to love as well as the Gardens of Babylon and Taj-Mahal in India. But the queens to honour which these two monuments were built were good and kind and couldn't harm people even if they wanted. The queen in honour of which Mausoleum was built was not such angel.
When her husband and her brother at the same time died she was in despair as she loved her husband very much. And this love was said not to have any description and measures. And when he died, Artemissia holding his dead body and crying ordered to bring it with the great worship to the tomb where he was burned. Then she ordered to take the ashes and to mix it with the water and drank it. She also put the monument to her husband building the beautiful Mausoleum that was added to the list of Seven Wonders of the Ancient World. This was the story of the ancient historian.
But probably his story is not rather correct as Artemessia died two years later after her husband. And the last months of her reining were the constant wars where she showed herself as the perfect warrior and despite the enemies attacks she managed to save the city. And the Mausoleum building started during the life of Maussollos and was finished by his wife.
